As the ‘once in a generation’ storm season intensifies, they find themselves tossed together in a fight for their lives as multiple systems converge over central Oklahoma.

“The original Twister was such a formidable film for me growing up, so getting to be a part of the new updated film is truly a dream come true,” Samantha explains. “We filmed in December for summer and the big rainstorm scene was shot on the coldest night of the month. It was incredibly fun and wild to work in those conditions and the team was extremely collaborative with Isaac (Chung) leading us. Capturing it all on actual film brought an element of urgency and importance that the entire set felt, pushing everyone to another level.”

A Texas native, Samantha has become known in the anime universe as the voice of Nora Valkyrie in the animated action-adventure franchise, RWBY, from Rooster Teeth Productions and recently acquired by VIZ Media. She appeared on-screen in the feature film Blood Fest, which premiered at SXSW before hitting theaters.
