Who is Buzzworthy?
Actor Andy Goldenberg, who stars as bachelor Jimmy Barton in the new romantic comedy, Love, Weddings & Other Disasters. Premiering December 4th, the film comes from director Dennis Dugan with an ensemble cast that includes Oscar winners Diane Keaton and Jeremy Irons, along with Maggie Grace and Andrew Bachelor.
What is the premise of Love, Weddings & Other Disasters?
The film is described as: weaving together the lives of people who create the perfect wedding day for a loving couple, while their own relationships are outlandish, odd, crazy and far from perfect. The colorful characters looking for love include an inexperienced wedding planner (Grace) nicknamed “The Wedding Trasher”, a fussy celebrity caterer (Irons), his blind date (Keaton), a tour-bus guide (Bachelor) looking for his Cinderella, and a neurotic bachelor on a reality dating show (Goldenberg).

“There’s a reason so many people call him ‘the great Dennis Dugan.’ He’s great behind the camera, he’s great in front of the camera, and he’s naturally funny. The day I shared a scene with him and watched him do all of it effortlessly was easily my favorite day on set.”
Andy worked several months with Dugan for the comedy, Jack and Jill, opposite Adam Sandler and Al Pacino. In addition to appearing in the film, Andy was Adam Sandler’s double on the project, shaving his entire body to stand-in as the Jill character.

Andy has amassed 60 million views and the nickname ‘The Theme Song Sondheim’ performing original lyrics to classic movie theme songs for his Goldentusk YouTube channel. He’s also appeared on TV in Broad City, Austin & Ally and iCarly; and he created and starred in the Streamy and ISA-nominated zombie romantic comedy, Bad Timing. A Second City LA alum, Andy performs with the improv group Freedom Snatch, which can be seen in the documentary, The Laughing Matter.
