What is the premise of The Rookie and The Rookie: Feds?
The storyline of these episodes, titled ‘The List’ and ‘The Silent Prisoner’ respectively, are described as when: a heist crew robs a bank vault, stealing a list that reveals the names of undercover FBI agents. The LAPD and the FBI team up, attempting to track down and stop these criminals before it’s too late. What they uncover is an action-packed thrill ride, full of danger and deception around every corner.
Ashli first appears as Amy, a victim who gets shot and is taken to the hospital during in the bank robbery in that takes place during The Rookie. It’s not until later they realize that Amy is actually part of the heist team, but quickly discover she has left and is now missing. During The Rookie: Feds, Amy reunites with her partner and goes on the run while attempting to sell the valuable information they stole. Does Amy get away with it? You’ll have to watch to find out.
What was it like for Ashli Auguillard to appear in this crossover event?
Ashli shares: “I was stoked when I booked the role of Amy! I actually auditioned for The Rookie and Rookie Feds about 9 times that month, and to finally get that ‘Yes’ for a role that appears on both shows proves that every ‘No’ isn’t always a rejection, but a redirection to something bigger and better! And then once I got there, Nathan Fillion and Niecy Nash were the kindest people on set. It was a dream job.”

You’ll likely remember Ashli for her hilarious role as Leon’s (J.B. Smoove) first new girlfriend Mary Ferguson on HBO’s Curb Your Enthusiasm. When did Ashli Auguillard get started in acting?
Ashli is from a large Louisiana family; she is the oldest of six children. She got her start in theater at 11-years old as part of the state’s gifted program (GPGC) and went on to excel in high school. Her smarts led her to double major in biology and theatre at UNLV and LSU. Ashli moved to Los Angeles after college to study at Baron Brown Studio and pursue acting professionally.
