London-based Director and Actor Cradeaux Alexander releases the original 6-episode horror series, Doctor Theatre. Available now on Amazon.com from indie distributor Filmhub, Cradeaux stars as an actor seduced by a cult faction under the guise of a theatre company.

What is the premise of Doctor Theatre?

The series is described as: a surreal journey of an imposing cult surrounding a London theatre, whose persuasive powers far exceed the stage. Mark (Alexander) is an actor who has been seduced and now emerges deep rooted in the cult faction, known as Communion. Over the course of a rehearsal for Madame’s new play, the extent of their darkness is revealed as an ancient religion requires unique and deadly sacrifices.

Previously, Cradeaux appeared in the feature film Director’s Cut, American TV drama Oz, and at at the New York Ontological Theatre in Richard Foreman’s play Permanent Brain Damage. His stage credits include directing and starring in the New York premiere of Samuel Beckett’s, Eh Joe, and directing the UK premiere of Pablo Picasso’s, Desire Caught by the Tail. In addition, he wrote, starred and directed, Funeral Meats, at the King’s Head Theatre in London.

What else do we know about Cradeaux Alexander?

In addition to performing arts, Cradeaux has proven a talent in the fine arts. He holds a Master’s Degree in Sculpture, Performance and Moving Image and Master of Philosophy from Royal College of Art in London and attended Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute for Acting in New York.
