Actor Dakota Kennedy, who portrays real life Secret Service agent George Opfer, in the new theatrical release, Reagan, starring Dennis Quaid and Penelope Ann Miller.

What is the premise of Reagan?

The biopic comes from director Sean McNamara and is based on Paul Kengor’s book which chronicles the life of the 40th President of the United States Ronald Reagan from childhood through his time in the oval office.

Dakota appears as George Opfer, the lead Secret Service agent assigned to protect the First Lady during her husband’s presidency.

Unlike his role in Reagan, Dakota has been cast as the charismatic antagonist several times. Originally from Oklahoma, he discovered acting in high school productions and then filmmaking while earning his Business degree at Oklahoma State college. He moved to Los Angeles adding several indie films to his resume including Finding Sara and Thieves, before making his way back to Oklahoma City.
