Who is Buzzworthy?
Actress Margaret Curry, who gets uptight and pesky this holiday appearing in the new feature film, Merry Good Enough. The seasonal comedy-meets-drama is set for a TVOD release on all major streamers just in time for Christmas on December 19, 2023 from Freestyle Digital Media.
What is the premise of Merry Good Enough?
The storyline is described as following: Lucy Raulie, who has always had a complicated relationship with her dysfunctional family. But when her mom disappears on Christmas Eve, it’s going to be up to Lucy to bring her family together again, whether she knows it or not. And this won’t be easy as the uptight and judgmental longtime friend, Susan Baker (Curry), keeps popping up at inopportune times.
What else do we know about Merry Good Enough?
The film was written by Caroline Keene, who also co-directs it with director of photography Dan Kennedy. It hit the festival circuit premiering in October at the New Hampshire Film Festival, earning the award for Best NH Narrative Feature.
Who did Margaret Curry work with on the film?
The talented actress shares the screen with Raye Levine Spielberg, Joel Murray, Susan Gallagher, Sawyer Spielberg, Comfort Clinton, Neil Casey, and Sophie von Haselberg.
Margaret adds, “I had met Raye (Levine Spielberg) a few years before in a clown class. It was a welcome shared experience that allowed us to bring a great sense of play to our characters’ interactions throughout Merry Good Enough.”

Margaret has been delighting New Yorkers with her new live solo cabaret show, The Space In-Between. She uses both story and song to explore, stimulate, and delight in the universe between the present and the future, the bad and the good, the hope and what’s-to-come. It’s set to return with special performances at The Laurie Beechman Theatre on April 6th and May 4th, 2024.

Film goers will recall Margaret as Lily in Starfish, and as Attorney Andrews in Alec Asten’s Diamond Ruff. Theater goers have seen her in over 300 performances, including Off-Broadway’s Fools in Love, The Musical and the national tour of Church Basement Ladies. Margaret has spent time singing with Leslie Uggams, Carol Channing, Billy Stritch, Amanda Green and Ann Hampton Callaway; and performed at the Kaplan Auditorium at Lincoln Center, the Allen Room at Jazz at Lincoln Center, The Hudson Guild Theatre and numerous New York hot spots.

Margaret is involved with creating a new web series project and will be performing in two Langford Wilson one acts at the Flea Theatre in New York in February 2024.
