Australian actor Michael Teh, who has brought to life the villainous Vincent Belman on NBC’s daytime drama, Days Of Our Lives.
What has Vincent been up to lately?
Since stepping foot in Salem nearly three months ago, Vincent has seriously disrupted the lives of Ben Weston and Ciara Brady. First, he kidnapped and tortured Ben at their wedding, attempting to brainwash him to kill his new bride which doesn’t work. Later we find out he has a connection to Eve Donovan, but that’s not why he decides to kidnap Ciara. Vincent is out to get payback for the murder of his wife by Ben years earlier, back when Ben was a bad guy. Ciara isn’t afraid to fight her captor and, in the shuffle, Vincent gets drugged into thinking Ciara is his dead wife. Looking to run away with her, Vincent drives her to the airport just as the drugs wear off in time to realize its actually Ciara and confront her at gunpoint. Finally, Ben and the police arrive to witness the car exploding, which leads to a chase and Vincent getting caught claiming he left Ciara’s body in the car.
What does Michael Teh have to say about playing Vincent?
“It’s truly been a joy being welcomed into the Days of Our Lives family of cast and crew. I feel blessed to have been working with such an experienced team, and to play to my strengths in bringing another villain to life. It’s always so much fun playing someone so different to yourself, especially when you get to be evil (and justifiably so!). And the one-take nature of shooting a soap, gives me a little of the same thrill an actor gets when walking the boards in a play.”

Fans will recognize Michael from his roles on several television shows, such as Fox’s Sleepy Hollow, CBS’s Criminal Minds, and ABC’s Castle. He has also gained some traction starring in the award-winning streaming drama series, Breaking Point. Michael has appeared many indie films, including opposite Adrian Paul in Lost Colony: The Legend of Roanoke, White Wall, 2010: Moby Dick, and Air Collision among others.
When did Michael Teh start acting?
Michael didn’t always know he wanted to be an actor. First, he earned both an MBA and a Law degree, which led him to several corporate jobs on the East Coast. Eventually, he realized his passion for acting and enrolled in a full-time theater program in New York.
