Actor William Mark McCullough who is currently recurring as ‘Kobi’ on Spectrum’s new original series L.A.’s Finest.
The show is a spinoff of the Bad Boys franchise, only now it’s set in Los Angeles and two women head the storyline, Gabrielle Union and Jessica Alba. Former DEA Agent Sydney Burnett (Union) leaves Miami behind to become an LAPD Detective, partnering with working mom Nancy McKenna (Alba). As they take on the most dangerous criminals in the City of Angels, Syd finds herself unable to forget Kobi (McCullough), a drug cartel criminal who kidnapped her back in Miami. When a new chance to take Kobi down comes along, will she be up to the task or will someone else stand in her way?
Spoiler alert — Kobi gets what he deserves, but Syd isn’t happy about it.
What else do we know about William Mark McCollough?
Movie audiences will remember William as the drug smuggling pilot Pete opposite Tom Cruise in American Made. He also appeared with Nicolas Cage in Arsenal, Channing Tatum in Steven Soderbergh’s Logan Luck, and Mahershala Ali in Free State of Jones. Originally from Savannah, Georgia, Williams has also had recurring television roles on Fox’s The Gifted, PBS’s Mercy Street and WGN’s Underground among others.
Where will William Mark McCullough be seen next?
William will head to DC Universe’s new web television series, Swamp Thing, streaming on the network beginning this June. The fresh comic book adaptation follows CDC investigator Abby Arcane (Crystal Reed), who discovers the swamp in her Louisiana hometown holds mystical secrets after her partner transforms into Swamp Thing. William joins the story as ‘Remy Dubois’, but further details are being kept under wraps.
William also has upcoming roles in HBO’s The Outsider and OWN’s Greenleaf; and a supporting role in the horror-thriller film, Shookum Hills, with Will Patton.
